TOP CLASS ROCK CRAWLING FIELD AT KAKEGAWA


Come and experience the fun of Rock Crawling at the Rock Crawling Field at Tamiya Kakegawa Circuit. This 110 square meter natural rock laid course has a 3.5m elevation, an average 17゜incline slope, a countless number of starting positions, and is also used for official Rock Crawling Events.

Introducing the Rock Crawling Field

Elevation: 3.5m, Width: 13m, Depth: 8.5m. Just like a real rock crawling field.


Come on and attack the average 17゜incline slope with your Rock Crawler.


The course has been carefully laid with large and small rocks creating a challenging surface.


A footpath allows drivers to inspect the course and find the best route.


You can have a lot of fun watching your car up close when driving.


Surrounding the course is a footpath for spectators. You can also drive your machine from there.

【 The Field in Brief 】
Width: 13m, Depth: 8.5m, Elevation: 3.5m, Average Incline: 17゜
This field with its numerous driving routes is challenging for expert Rock Crawlers, but it can be equally enjoyed by those new to the sport. In addition, there is a natural rock path inside the field which allows drivers to ascend in unison with their machines. Furthermore, surrounding the field is a concrete pavement allowing drivers to return safely and sure footedly.

【 About Running Machines 】
CR-01 chassis machines such as the Toyota Land Cruiser 40 and other Tamiya made machines such as the Ford F-350 can be run on this field. (Please use a "Tamiya-based" machine)

【 Things to Remember When Using the Course 】
The Tamiya Kakegawa Rock Clawling Field has been built for R/C fans and can be used by anyone. Please adhere to the Course Manner code.

・Do not allow children to play inside the Rock Crawling Field
・Do not leave small children on their own. Parents and Guardians please pay attention to the children in your care.
・This is a Rock Crawling Field. Refrain from using other R/C machines.
・Wear appropriate footwear. (Wearing of footwear such as sandles and high heels are deemed unsafe and dangerous).

The Off-Road Course is Born!

This new off-road course features an excellently positioned drivers stand allowing you a perfect view of the course making for dynamic racing.

Introducing the Off-Road Course

The course is next to the Rock Crawling Field.


Width: 32m, Depth: 18m, Elevation: 1.5m, Distance: 1 lap approx. 150m.


The driver's stand offers an excellent overall view.


The tricky triple with different sized jumps will test you.


There is also a double.


One huge jump you have to try!


Try your skill at this uneven double.


Be careful of the moguls.


Each corner has a bunk in position.

【 The Course in Brief 】
Tamiya Kakegawa Circuit's large sized 32m×18m off-road course features exciting large jumps, wave and mogul sections that will test your skill. Drivers with high-power motors will thoroughly love running their machines on this course. As well as the "Buggy Challenge" keep an eye on the Tamiya Website for more announcements of upcoming events.

This course is perfect for high-speed off-road machines. As well as a succession of jumps, this challenging course also features tabletops and moguls ready for you to test your skills.

The Tamiya Kakegawa Off-Road Course has been built for R/C fans and can be used by anyone. Please adhere to the Course Manner code.

・Do not allow children to play near and in the course including the driver's stand.
・There is a possibility that R/C machines may fly out of the course. Be aware of your surroundings at all times.
・Wear appropriate footwear. (Wearing of footwear such as sandles and high heels are deemed unsafe and dangerous).

Closed: Every Wednesday and Thursdays
Charges: 1 Day: Member = 500yen, Non Member = 1,500yen
Elementary, Junior & High School Students are Free of charge.

Access: From the Kakegawa Tomei interchange, approximately 15 minutes by car. (From Nagoya Interchange approx. 120km, From Tokyo approx. 200km)From the interchange exit, roadsigns and directions on telephone poles can be seen.
From Kakegawa Train Station North Exit, take the East Loop line (Clockwise/Anti-clockwise) to "Ecopolis South" (approx. 25 minutes). From the bus stop it is approximately a two minute walk.
