The following guidelines and troubleshooting information is being provided to help you run your Tamiya Brushless Motor 02 (Sensored) safely and deal with some common problems which may arise. Customers outside of Japan should contact your local Tamiya dealer if you have any questions regarding the contents of this page, or if you experience any further problems with your motor.

Guidelines

●Always check that the Electronic Speed Controller (ESC) sensor cable is intact and undamaged. If the cable is frayed, cut or otherwise damaged in anyway, always exchange it before using the motor.

Use of the following products is recommended when replacing the cable. Ensure that the cable you choose is of sufficient length for your model.

Item 54317 TBLE-01S Sensor Cable (12cm)
Item 54318 TBLE-01S Sensor Cable (16cm)
Item 54381 TBLE-01S Sensor Cable (35cm)
※Sensor cables may wear out over time. Change them at regular intervals to ensure correct performance.

●Ensure that the ESC sensor cable is properly connected. Use of a cable with a certain amount of slack is recommended, as shorter cables may become disconnected by sudden bumps or jolts. Make a habit of checking the connection of the ESC sensor cable both before and after running your model.

●Do not bend or crimp cables, particularly near to the connectors, as this can cause damage.

●Always check the motor end bell, removing any dust or foreign object as soon as you notice it.
