Let's Make Models!! - Assembly
Assembly is one of the most fun parts of modeling. As you combine each individual part together you gradually begin to see the finished result appear before your eyes. Just cut the parts off the sprues in the order outlined in the instructions and glue them together. It's that simple!

Cutting parts off the sprue
Side cutter and modeling knife Following the instructions, use side cutters and a modeling knife to cut the parts off from the sprues (sometimes called trees). A nail clipper can be a handy replacement for side cutters.

1.Check the part to be used.

2.Cut off part from sprue.

3.Cut off excess.
Do not cut off all the parts at the one time!

Only cut off the parts that are necessary for the assembly of that particular section. Many kits contain similar parts, so read the instruction manual carefully, always double-checking the part numbers.

Gluing parts
Tamiya Cement Glue parts together using Tamiya Cement. Apply a small amount of cement to one of the gluing surfaces and press the parts together. Leave for a while until cement has completely hardened.

1.Remove any excess cement.

2.Apply cement to gluing surface.

3.Press parts together.
When gluing metal plated parts

Cement does not work on metal plated surfaces. Scratch off plating of the gluing surface using a knife.
 Tweezers can be really handy

It is hard to get a good grip on small parts using just your fingers. This can often result in getting cement onto your fingers and dirtying the parts. Using tweezers helps solve this problem.
