1/12 Motorcycle Series No.6

1/12 SCALE HONDA CB750F

Length: 183 mm. Image shows painted and assembled kit.

The CB750F was an instant hit upon its release in 1979. It was powered by a 748 cc air-cooled inline-four engine that had input from the experienced Honda gained in their development of the RCB endurance racer, and had 4 valves per cylinder and an output of 68 hp. It really looked the part with its cooling fins, too. Braking was taken care of by a double disc front and single disc rear setup. The bike’s legendary “floating line” design theme is exemplified by the graceful line traced back from the fuel tank to the tail cowling. In April 1981 it underwent a minor model change, with upgrades to the engine, suspension and brakes, taking it to even greater heights and cementing its popularity both at home and abroad.
