1/700 Water Line Series

1/700 SCALE JAPAN LIGHT CRUISER NATORI

Length: 230mm. Image shows assembled and painted kit.

This is an assembly kit of the Natori, the third ship of the Nagara-class of 5,500 ton light cruisers. Completed in 1922, she took part in numerous actions including the Battle of Sunda Strait before finally being sunk in August 1944 by a U.S. submarine. It was capable of a top speed of 36 knots and its long, narrow form has been accurately reproduced. This model depicts the ship as she appeared at around 1910, with three highly detailed funnels, seven 14cm guns, torpedo launchers, catapults, and floatplanes.
