Length: 200mm. Image shows assembled and painted kit.
This is an assembly kit of the Isuzu, which was completed in 1923 as the second ship of the Nagara-class of 5,500 ton light cruisers. The model depicts the ship as she appeared after her modification into an anti-aircraft cruiser, which took place from January to September of 1944, and includes details such as the radar antennae on the masts. After 22 years of service, she was finally sunk by U.S. submarines in April 1945, and this model accurately depicts this long-surviving warship.
