The Sd.Kfz.251 belonged to the stable of half-track vehicles operated by the Wehrmacht during WWII. Production began in 1937, and early "A" variants were powered by a 100hp, 4,171cc inline-six engine. Its half-track running gear was a huge plus on uneven terrain, and it could transport up to ten soldiers, or equally effectively pull guns and other trailers. It was present during the 1939 invasion of Poland and immediately showed its effectiveness as a part of the much-vaunted swift German attacks. Numerous other variants including anti-tank guns were made, and its production run came to 16,000 vehicles by the end of the war in 1945, contributing on all fronts for beleaguered German forces.

This is a 1/35 scale plastic model assembly kit. Length: 168mm. ★The blocky, utilitarian half-track form is recreated in style. ★Rear hatches open after completion of assembly. ★Detail such as the driver seat is visible from the open top, and the running gear is realistically depicted. ★Five figures are in action pose. ★Decals are included to recreate license plates and unit markings for vehicles on the Eastern front and in the North African theater.
