The 2WD buggy R/C model DN-01 features great balance with a longitudinal battery flanked by R/C equipment, and here it is paired with plenty of option parts which ensure an advanced drive. Tamiya has selected optimum option parts for this kit: a slipper clutch for better stability, aluminum suspension mounts and motor plate for high durability and assembly universal shafts for efficiency; refined front wheel axle and upright design allows wider wheel choices thanks to use of hex hubs.

The longitudinally placed battery and rear-mounted motor give the 2WD DN-01 chassis great balance and traction.
3-piece steering tie-rod has a servo saver with integrated steering crank, and ball connectors equipped with dust covers.
Front double wishbone suspension uses upper turnbuckle shaft I-arms and plastic lower H-arms, offering 4 upper and 3 lower damper attachment points.
Steel wheel axles have integrated hubs and realize high durability and easy maintenance.

Flat dish wheels pick up less mud and dirt, and are molded in highly visible white. Wide-groove tires give great straight-line stability.
The chassis employs a slipper clutch for stable off-road drive, and a blue aluminum motor plate to dissipate heat effectively.
TRF201 Aluminum Rear Suspension Mounts (3.0, Front/3.0, Rear) ensure secure suspension arm attachment with 3-degree toe-in.
Rear double wishbone suspension has 4 upper and 3 lower damper attachment points while the uprights also have several arm attachment points.

The rear also uses hex hubs (aluminum), for plenty of wheel choices.
White dish wheels are paired with high-grip dual block tires at home on a range of surfaces.
The kit includes a TRF201 body and 2 rear wings.
