This R/C assembly kit creates the Clod Buster, which is inspired by American monster trucks and features huge tires and high-lifted body on its dedicated chassis. The realistic body is durable styrene plastic and can be painted with plastic paints while front and rear bumpers, front grille and supercharger on the hood are metal-plated. Front and rear link arm rigid axle suspension is equipped with 2 spring friction dampers for each wheel; 8 dampers in total support this heavy-duty model. Huge semi-pneumatic tires with 165mm diameter and 110mm width give excellent off-road performance in conjunction with 55mm ground clearance. The 4-wheel steering (4WS) system realizes great maneuverability and tighter turning circles for a large-sized R/C model.

4WD & 4WS Chassis
Bathtub frame with durable link arm rigid axle suspension features a heavy-duty structure with link arms held by lateral arms and axle stays, and two friction dampers for each wheel. Axle housings have integrated sealed gearboxes with motors for both front and rear. Power is transmitted via gears effectively and differential gears offer smooth cornering, allowing the big Clod Buster to move quickly. Also, the 4WS system steers front and rear wheels in opposite directions - with a single steering servo - for tighter turning circles. The kit includes the Tamiya TEU-201BK twin motor ESC which allows smooth control of this twin-motor R/C model.
